Number of Family PACT Clients Served with Family Planning Methods/Services by Fiscal Years

This dataset contains information on the number of clients served with a contraception method or service accessed through the Family Planning, Access, Care, and Treatment (Family PACT) Program (https://www.dhcs.ca.gov/services/ofp/Pages/OfficeofFamilyPlanning.aspx) from July 1, 2003 through June 30 2016. Women who received any service related to a method, including receipt, maintenance, and monitoring were included in the count of clients. The methods and services reimbursed by Family PACT include: oral contraceptives, patch, ring, contraceptive injections, contraceptive implants, intrauterine contraceptives (IUC), barriers and natural family planning methods, female sterilization, and vasectomy. This dataset includes the following variables: the number of clients who received barrier methods and supplies, contraceptive implants, contraceptive injections, contraceptive patch, contraceptive vaginal ring, emergency contraceptive pills, IUC, oral contraceptives, tubal sterilization, and vasectomy. Clients could have had more than one contraceptive method in the fiscal year.
