Construction safety tip #2: Ladders should be secured to the sides of buildings. There should also be a requirement that mandates that all ladders be extended 36 inches from the edge of the surface where they are being used.

Many workers avoid wearing safety glasses because they do not like the way they look but they can protect workers from serious eye injuries. You may be able to find glasses that are stylish and more acceptable to the workers.
